CPGjobs expands opportunities for Network of Executive Women
CPGjobs has joined forces with the Network of Executive Women to manage the association’s online job site and expand the diversity organization’s recruiting power. The Network's “CPGjobs powered” Job Bank went live March 31 on www.newonline.org, “giving NEW members dynamic new features and an expanded pipeline of diverse and highly qualified CPG/retail industry candidates.”
CPGjobs President Michael Carrillo noted that NEW is the industry’s largest and most active diversity organization with more than 2,200 members representing 300 consumer products and retail companies. “This high-profile partnership further cements our firm’s relationship with the CPG industry and instantly provides NEW members with increased job opportunities and an expanded pipeline of diverse candidates.”
“Our candidate base already has a large share of women executives and candidates of color working at the highest level of the CPG/retail industry,” Carrillo said. “This agreement with the Network of Executive Women will further increase our visibility among some of the most influential executives in the industry.”
CPGjobs is a NEW corporate sponsor and a long-time supporter of the group’s mission of advancing, recruiting and retaining women in the CPG and retail industry, Carrillo said. “NEW’s mission makes it an ideal partner for CPGjobs. We are two organizations that understand the importance of diversity to the CPG industry.”
In addition to being a corporate sponsor of the Network of Executive Women, CPGjobs is a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs, the National Black MBA Association, and the Society of Human Resource Management. CPGjobs is also a founding member of the California Diversity Council.
Carrillo said CPGjobs plans to partner with other organizations, including the American Herbal Products Association, (AHPA). “We look forward to helping the AHPA and other industry associations expand their services in the same way that we are now helping NEW.”
“When you combine the pipeline and technology of CPGjobs with the strong relationships that associations like NEW have with their members, you create a very powerful online recruiting tool,” Carillo said.
Outside channels
In addition to partnerships within the industry, CPGjobs has developed new alliances with some of the nation’s top recruiting companies, Carrillo said. “The purpose of these partnerships is to plug CPGjobs into recruiting channels outside the industry and ensure that our clients reach every qualified candidate.”
The company’s new partnerships include:
Indeed.com CPGjoblist jobs are part of the Indeed.com jobsite network, which aggregates more than a million jobs a week from employers, newspapers, associations, corporate career pages and other job sites. The Indeed partnership helps ensure that your job posting connects with as many candidates as possible and helps provide a core foundation for CPGjobs client’s positions.”
TopUSAjobs.com This is one of CPGjob’s important feeder sites, according to Carrillo. “Select any of our top categories---sales, marketing, research and category management in particular--then type in the search term 'CPG'. You will be amazed by the dominance of CPGjoblist jobs at TopUSAjobs.com. “Again, when it comes to finding qualified candidates, it’s about quality not quantity--but it takes a lot of panning to find the gold.”
TheLadders.com “We are proud of our new association with this online firm." Carrillo said. TheLadders.com partners with premier job sites like CPGjoblist that cater to the $100k+ sector of the employment market. “Its structure—a primary candidate destination at www.theladders.com with specialized job search sites for sales (www.salesladder.com), marketing (www.mktgladder.com), finance (www.financeladder.com), human resources (www.hrladder.com) and other specialty fields, meshes well with our pipeline job search model,” Carrillo said.
nowHire.com “This recruiting technology service provider offers extensive experience and insight into human capital management,” Carrillo said. “By working with them we can help create a sustainable competitive edge for clients seeking measurable results in recruitment. Like CPGjobs, nowHIRE understands the importance of ROI in recruiting technology.”
More than one hundred top corporations use CPGjobs and its CPGjoblist websites, including ACNielsen, Coca-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, Kelloggs, Hershey Foods, Newell-Rubbermaid, IRI, Nestl USA, The Clorox Company, Revlon, Unilever and the Walt Disney Company.
