Clients drive new CPGjobs outreach and options
Employers are the driving force behind a series of transformational changes being rolled out by CPGjobs, the consumer packaged goods leading recruiting service. “You’ve asked for new outreach and new options, and we’ve listened,” says company President Michael Carrillo. The new features include a newly launched employers website, redesigned candidate home page, and new branding.
“These changes will help our employers fill their talent pipeline like never before, attract more candidates to our site, and put more emphasis on diversity, quality, options and service--the things that today’s employers want most. The result is a more powerful pipeline partnership that will enable us to work hand-in-hand with you to deliver ‘the best of the best.’”
More changes are coming soon, Carrillo announced, including feeder sites that will attract additional qualified candidates to CPGjoblist, the candidate service of CPGjobs.
New branding
The leading edge of the changes at CPGjobs is the brand itself, Carrillo says. “CPGjobs is our employer recruiting service, while CPGjoblist is a product of CPGjobs and remains our point-of-contact with candidates.”
There are several benefits to differentiating the two entities, Carrillo says. “Candidates visiting the new CPGjoblist homepage will get just the information they need, and a faster, more user-friendly experience. Similarly, clients and prospects visiting CPGjobs will enjoy a user experience customized to their needs to recruit diverse candidates for their talent pool."
A fresh new look online and in print will help emphasize the changes. Los Angeles graphic designer Emiko North has created cutting-edge logos for CPGjobs and CPGjoblist that will catch the eye of clients, prospects and candidates, Carrillo says.
More selection
CPGjobs has increased its options to improve its clients recruiting ROI, Carrillo says. There are four levels of service “designed to staff the largest department or help you acquire a single hard-to-find niche candidate.”
Standard Pipeline Service. Pay for just the candidates you need and get these benefits: 60-day job listing; qualified responses forwarded direct; no ‘data mining’ required--CPGjobs does it for you; post/modify jobs at will; track candidate responses 24/7; free listing in Candidate Job Alert; free listing in online Employer Directory; personal customer service rep on call; a 30-day newsletter ad (space available); and 100% guarantee.
Subscription Pipeline Service. CPGjob’s “innovative new Pipeline Service keeps a steady flow of top industry candidates flowing through your talent pipeline at all times,” Carrillo says. Clients get unlimited standard job postings for a flat fee that’s tailored to anticipated volume, simplifying budgeting. “Pipeline Subscription is a cost-effective way to grow your candidate networks exponentially and extend our support throughout your organization.”
Premium Pipeline Service. All the benefits of Standard Service plus pre-qualifying of candidate responses; screening interviews by telephone; executive summary of qualifications; personal candidate outreach; Job Alert “Job of the Month” (space available) and 100% guarantee.
Professional Recruiting. CPGjobs offers commission-free recruiting from its nationwide network of experienced industry recruiters. Clients pay a fixed fee upon placement and get complete candidate ownership on all submitted candidates, eliminating restrictions on future networking. CPGjobs’ Professional Recruiting offers turnkey service, personal support, online candidate tracking, and a wide range of outreach extras.
Diverse candidates
Starting next month, new feeder sites will draw qualified candidates through the power of Web networking, Carrillo says. CPGjobs will also offer a new upgrade that will prompt candidates to identify employers they are interested in working for, “providing a whole new level of candidate-generated, permission-based networking and data mining. Instead of waiting for responses to specific job postings, you’ll have a ready database of qualified CPG executives excited about your company--and you can use this database to get even more referrals.” Also coming soon--expanded candidate profiles and new and more refined candidate tracking categories to reflect the growing range of jobs being listed with CPGjobs.
“Diversity is important to our clients--and to us,” Carrillo says. The company will maintain a high profile at National Diversity Council affiliated events such as the California Diversity & Leadership Conference (September 20-21 in San Francisco) and the upcoming Texas Diversity & Leadership Conference (May 15-16 in Dallas). CPGjobs Executive Vice President Penny Sallberg-Carrillo will address the Texas event, which will also feature retired General Colin Powell and Carly Fiorina.
CPGjobs representatives will also continue to attend professional events like the annual meetings of the Network of Executive Women, the National Black MBA Association, and the National Society of Hispanic MBAs.
CPGjobs is a founding corporate member of the California Diversity Council (part of the National Diversity Council), and Penny Sallberg-Carrillo is the organization’s Southern California president. “Penny is also on the national membership committee of the Network of Executive Women (CPG and Retail Industry), an important diversity organization we sponsor. CPGjobs is a proud member of SHRM, the Black MBA Association and the Society of Hispanic MBAs. When it comes to diversity, we walk the talk,” Carrillo says.
Call for ideas
CPGjobs will not stop with these improvements. “Today’s changing recruiting environment and constant pressure on recruiting ROI mean that we will always be improving CPGjobs and CPGjoblist,” Carrillo says. “When it comes to defining your needs and expanding our talent pipeline partnership, you’re the expert,” Carrillo says. “You know who you’re looking for and how you work. That’s why we want your personal input to expand our services and your flow of top-quality talent.”
To discuss your ideas, contact CPGjobs Marketing Director Jackie Apodaca jackie@CPGjobs.com and “tell her how we can provide you with even more tools to recruit today’s top industry executives,” Carrillo says.
