Just launched CPG Forum is 'talk of the industry’
CPGjobs has officially launched CPG Forum, the first independent forum exclusively for the consumer packaged goods industry. The dynamic website allows candidates and employers to network with each other, initiate online discussions, participate in discussions begun by others, send instant mail to other members, receive and send private messages, and more.
The Forum, officially opened September 1, already has 17,654 registered users and 63 discussion threads. “CPG Forum is a virtual public square for the CPG industry that you can visit anytime you want.” according to Michael Carrillo, president of CPGjobs, which hosts the forum. “It is off to a strong start, attracting current employees, potential candidates, recruiters and employers. It is a great way to help candidates and employers connect."
“CPG Forum is the place to connect with people in the CPG industry, look for a job, connect with companies where you want to work, talk about a former employer, or find the latest industry trends,” says Forum moderator Jackie Apodaca, CPGjobs marketing director. If you were already registered with CPGjoblist before September 1 you are automatically registered with CPG Forum and can use your existing User Name and Password to login, Apodaca said. “If you’ve forgotten your user name or password, email info@CPGjoblist.com and we’ll send it to you -- or you can register as a new user.” Some topics open for discussion on CPG Forum by candidate, their colleagues and potential employers include: CPG Companies -- Rants, Raves and Reviews; Hot CPG Job Opportunities; Job Hunting Tips; How to Earn Money by Staying in Contact with CPGjoblist; New Tends in CPG employment; and more, Apodaca said.
“We’re listening”
The CPG Forum is the latest in a series of moves that have remade CPGjobs in the past several months, Carrillo noted. “You’ve asked for new outreach and new options, and we’ve listened.” In the past several months the company has launched a new employers website, a redesigned candidate home page, and new logos and branding.
More recently CPGjobs has introduced our Pay Per Hire service that allows firms to post unlimited jobs with guaranteed hires. The company has also introduced People Finder, a resume search tool that allows employers to search on candidates who’ve express an interest in working for them. The firm will continue to offer Pay Per Post and professional recruiting services in addition to its new Pay Per Hire service.
CPGjobs, the creator of CPGjoblist, the consumer packaged goods industry’s leading recruiting service and website, has also unveiled a host of new category sites “to broaden reach within specific disciplines,” Carrillo announced. The sites include CPGmarketingjobs.com, CPGcategorymanagementjobs.com, CPGmarketresearchjobs.com, CPGsalesjobs.com, CPGtrademarketingjobs.com, CPGoperationsjobs.com, CPGHRjobs.com, CPGfinancejobs.com, CPGretailbuyerjobs.com, CPGadvertisingjobs.com, CPGexecjobs.com, CPGinternationaljobs.com, CPGmerchandisingjobs.com and more to come.
“The goal of these new category sites, our new services and continuing outreach at events like the Network of Executive Women, SHRM and National Black MBA Association is to match the best candidates with the best jobs and create a continuous pipeline of diverse CPG candidates for employers,” Carrillo said.
CPGjobs is a strong supporter of diversity, he noted. In addition to its membership in the National Black MBA Association, the firm is a corporate sponsor of the Network of Executive Women, a founding member of the California Diversity Council, and a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs and the Society of Human Resource Management.
