CONCENTRATING ON U.S.: CPGjoblist client Cadbury Schweppes has announced plans to sell its European drinks business and is looking for a buyer for brands such as Orangina and Schweppes tonic water. Cadbury-Schweppes intends to focus on the U.S., the world's largest soft drink market, where it owns Dr Pepper and Seven-Up. Cadbury said it would begin the sale process in the near future. "Europe beverages has a great portfolio of brands," said Todd Stitzer, the company's chief executive. "However, the potential for growth and value creation is greater in the group's other operations.”
