MISSION
The mission of the Network of Executive Women, Consumer Products and Retail Industry, is to attract, retain and advance women in the retail and consumer products industry. NEW accomplishes this by facilitating leadership development, offering networking and business opportunities, offering mentoring and support, providing educational programs, championing diversity and enhancing the industry’s image.
BACKGROUND
The Network of Executive Women was incorporated in April 2001. It is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization. Since its founding, NEW has grown rapidly to serve more than 1,000 individual members representing 300 companies and its corporate sponsors.
SPECIAL SERVICES
The Network offers a number of free and low-cost services to industry executives and association members, including access to diversity best practices, regional events, networking opportunities, a facilitated mentoring program, diversity education, a monthly newsletter and job bank. Individual dues are $200 per year. Corporate memberships are also available through NEW’s corporate sponsorship programs.
