| Position Responsibilities: |
Position Summary: District Manager - Supervise / Lead 13 Route Sales Representatives. Manage Day to Day Capacities in the Southwest Metro Market. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Manager all aspects of route related sales activities, according to established policies and procedures. * Manager established focal points, ensuring that division achieves budgeted sales and stale goals. * Ensure that routes are structured for optimum effectiveness. * Maintain goodwill with existing customers and solicit new business within assigned division. * Recruit, motivate and train Route Sales Representatives. Teach and practice the Five Fundamentals. * Manage and control daily route settlement procedures. * Develop and ensure a safe work environment for all employees. * Develop and recommend strategies to increase market share within assigned division. * Degree in Business Management/Marketing related fields or equivalent work experience. * Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in sales management. * Functional knowledge of wholesale/bakery food service sales and operations required. * Public speaking ability, training skills and PC skills. * Some business related travel is required.
