| Position Responsibilities: |
Kellogg Company is seeking a Key Account Executive in New York City, NY, who will work to achieve assigned sales budgets through effective strategic planning, execution and personal selling efforts with multiple wholesalers and distributors. This position is responsible for managing a geography, creating and implementing effective strategies and coordinating with Kellogg Company functional partners to meet customer needs. This position will take the lead in sales planning working closely with Business Management Team and Cross Functional Partners to develop and execute business plans. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Develop innovative market level plans that impact sales, market share, distribution, merchandising, pricing, shelf space and achieve Annual Gross Sales and Net Sales Budgets - Present new products to customers utilizing a full range of data sources to prepare and conduct effective presentations. - Efficiently manage trade marketing funds to assigned quarterly and annual budgets - Conduct quarterly business reviews with top customers and recommend actions to exceed goals - Forecast sales annually and on a period basis as part of the integrated business process. - Perform pre and post promotion analysis and revise future programs as necessary. - Develop and maintain positive trade relations with Key Customers in joint conjunction with distributor - Minimum: - High School Diploma/GED, plus four years Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Sales, Account Management, Category Management or Customer Service experience. -- OR -- BA/BS Degree, plus two years of Consumer Packaged Goods Sales, Account Management, Category Management or Customer Service experience. - Previous experience communicating complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels, both in writing and verbally. - Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities. - Previous experience developing business cases/presentations identifying opportunities. - Proficiency working in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Preferred: - 5 years of Sales experience is preferred.
