| Position Responsibilities: |
We are currently seeking a Director for our Sunbury, PA office exclusively supporting Weis. This position acts as the key business leader accountable to train, develop and manage all members of the team. The individual is accountable for quality, quantity and financial targets. Accountable for leveraging the resources of operations, sales, human resources, finance, information technology and the customer to achieve the strategic and financial objectives for the team. Also establishes and maintains good working relations with the customers senior management. Key Responsibilities: * Creates, establishes and maintains solid top to top relationship with customer throughout Buying, Marketing and store operations * Strategically focuses development of direct reports, including preparation for increased responsibility through mentoring, counseling, constructive feedback and interest in their long term growth * Provides operational direction, training, coaching and development to subordinates to ensure a successful program. * Monitors effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization and quality of demonstrations by conducting routine store visits * Evaluates various demo performance metrics including execution rates, sales performance, labor hours and operational costs, and makes adjustments as necessary * Creates, administers and measures annual budgets in coordination with demo Finance Controller * Develops and nurtures relationships with team leadership at the other demo companies, shares success stories and lessons learned and assists with start-up operations and key events * Effectively recruits and hires quality talent * Thinks and acts strategically as well as tactically in performance of the job * Works closely with Human Resources Department to identify and develop supervisory training programs and resolve the more complex / serious employee relations matters * Leads regular staff meetings with Operations, Sales and Human Resources personnel * Conducts routine meetings with key customer leadership, including Buying, Marketing and Operations * Routinely attends all high profile customer events / interacts with key customer leadership and Vendor representatives / Works closely with senior Daymon demonstration company management Requirements * Bachelor`s Degree required / Masters preferred. * 5-10 years of CPG experience required, preferably at client-side, branded, consumer-packaged-goods Company, or combination of supplier-side and client-side experience. * Demonstrated success in developing sustainable innovation, ability to intuitively understand the needs of consumers and shoppers, and translate insights into action with cross-functional partners. * Strong business acumen, with experience in product development, marketing plan development and competitive analysis. * Proven ability to distill large complex issues into concise, executive level presentations and recommendations. * Strong creativity and the ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment. * Well developed team player able to lead supporting personnel to common business objectives. * Minimum of seven years of experience in sales, marketing or related field, five (5) years of which involved supervising and training staff. * Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy with a wide variety of individuals * Strong organizational, attention to detail and time management skills. * Solid understanding of accounting practices, budget planning and analyzing business performance. * Excellent command of Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Wed-based systems. * Strong negotiation skills for both external and internal partners. * Must be able to travel frequently.
