| Company Description: | Craft Brewers Alliance, Inc. representing high quality hand crafted beers with a portfolio from Widmer Brothers Brewing Company, Redhook Ale Brewery and Kona Brewing Co. has an immediate opening for a Brand Manager for the Kona brand, located in Portland, OR. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and is responsible for developing and managing Kona product lines, brand communication materials and marketing programs. | ||||
| Position Responsibilities: |

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions: Summary Support the Companys mission statement and corporate values: Responsible for managing a brand marketing program for at least one brand in the portfolio. The Brand Manager will work directly with the VP of Marketing to develop strategies and execute programs that build a strong brand image and sales momentum for the brand. The Brand Manager will also work with brewing partners management to develop and execute programs that are consistent with existing brand image and that establish a strong brand presence. Work closely with the VP of Marketing to develop annual strategic brand marketing plans. The brand manager will primarily oversee the following areas: Manage the product and package lines to maximize the effectiveness of each brand portfolio. Brand Manager will also oversee the development of new product and package designs. Manage the advertising and media programs including the development and execution of new advertising materials. Work closely with the POS department in the development and execution of new point of sale materials. Work closely with the Field Marketing, Field Sales and National Retail Sales to develop and execute annual retail promotion plans. Work closely with Field Marketing Department to ensure the brand marketing programs are executed appropriately at the local market level. Work closely with the sales team to develop new programs focused on building strong brand images and sales momentum. Manage annual brand marketing budget by seeking to maximize impact of all dollars invested. Analyze brand data to gain a deep understanding of brand health drivers. Build and maintain strong working relationships with every functional area of the organization, but especially sales, brewing operations, and the wholesaler network. In addition to these specific responsibilities, the Brand Manager will also be involved in the management and execution of public relations, website/internet marketing (including social media), consumer and industry research, community goodwill and brand licensing programs. Qualifications: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration; related discipline or equivalent years of experience. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 6-8 years of marketing experience for a consumer packaged goods, beer or alcoholic beverages experience strongly preferred.
