| Position Responsibilities: |
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Strategic Sales Planner functions as NA Sales Team ambassador for all Sales Channels (Grocery, Drug, Mass, Club, Food Service and Private Label). He/she provides category management support, manages and maintains sales databases and resources supporting all sales functions, and supports the analysis of trade and forecasting by developing turnkey tools. Serves as the key liason between the Category Manager, Demand Planning/Trade Marketing Manager and Director of Mass/Club. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales and Trade Support: Provide sales volume reports, consumption and trade analysis to Executive Vice President/General Manager of Sales, Director of Strategic Planning/Business Development, Category Manager, Demand Planning/Trade Marketing Manager, Sales and Marketing management and field sales managers/brokers. Serve as the key contact person for managing all sales and marketing requests on system support for the BW/SAP systems. Use AC Nielsen, Adview, BW/SAP and Blue Planner to provide sales and marketing analysis to drive sales goals. Category Management & Analytical Support: Analyze account, brand and competitive strategies and trends for Mass/Club and develop plans to address issues or capitalize on opportunities. Present category management findings to internal Sales/Marketing teams. Provide guidance, leadership and category/brand expertise to Director Mass/Club. Department Coordinator: Coordinate Weekly Sales Meetings and cross functional meetings as assigned. Organize and direct orientation and training on SAP/BW and Blue Planner for all sales new hires. |
