Position Responsibilities:	Are you looking to make an impact on critical business strategy while working closely with key senior leaders? If so, the Mergers and Acquisitions team, which supports Mattel`s strategic planning group, is looking for you. The group works closely with corporate and divisional senior management on all Mergers and Acquisitions projects. This position represents a key member of the M&A team and will require great versatility as it incorporates a broad range of finance, strategy, and M&A skills. This position reports to the Director of Mergers and Acquisitions. In this role, you will: 1. Set strategy, gain alignment with key business partners, and source and close M&A transactions 2. Participate/lead in all pieces of transaction: o Set and implement targeting strategy o Build organizational alignment o Determine bidding strategy and negotiate deals o Conduct due diligence o Coordinate closing o Perform integration planning Key Client Group Individual will interface with key individuals throughout the organization, particularly senior leaders in Strategic Planning, Mattel Brands, Marketing, Finance, and other core leaders. External responsibility Will manage and work with investment bankers, auditors, accounting firms, management consultants, and law firms. Assessment Key piece of the M&A team; role will require great versatility as it incorporates all aspects of M&A from setting strategy all the way through deal integration. Requirements: - BA/BS required (Business, Economics, Finance preferred) - MBA preferred - Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills a must - 4+ years total experience (1-2 years post-MBA) in management consulting, private equity, and/or investment banking Mattel is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/V/D
