Penelope Sallberg-Carrillo will attend upcoming diversity events
in San Francisco, Dallas

PASADENA, Calif. (July 26, 2007) - Penelope Carrillo-Sallberg, Executive Vice-President of CPGjobs, will participate in two high-level events this summer as part of the recruiting firm's continuing outreach to diversity candidates in the consumer packaged goods industry.

Sallberg-Carrillo will attend the Network of Executive Women's Executive Leaders Forum, August 7-9 at the Four Seasons Resort at Las Colinas in Dallas. She will participate in high-level workshops on critical issues facing industry leaders, join senior-level peer exchanges, and network with top executives in the consumer products and retail industries. This invitation only event is reserved for vice presidents and above in the consumer packaged goods and retail industry.

CPGjobs is a corporate sponsor of the over two-thousand, member Network, which promotes the recruitment, advancement and retention of senior-level women in the consumer packaged goods and retail industries.

Speaking in San Francisco

Sallberg-Carrillo will also provide welcoming remarks at the California Diversity Council's California Diversity and Leadership Conference in San Francisco, September 20-21. Speakers at the California event will include; actress Geena Davis and Chris Gardner, the Wall Street success story who inspired the film "The Pursuit of Happyness." Chancellor Robert Birgenau of the University of California, Berkeley, is honorary chair of the California summit and will also address the crowd.

CPGjobs is a sponsor of the California event and the California Diversity Council, which is part of the National Diversity Council. Sallberg-Carrillo is president of the California Diversity Council's Southern California chapter. Representatives of CPGjobs attend professional and diversity events throughout the year, including the National Black MBA Association and the National Society of Hispanic MBAs.

Sallberg-Carrillo has had a long and diverse career in sales, operations and management. She worked in the design industry, fashion merchandising, and the organic foods business before moving to The House of Marketing where she served as Art Director. Sallberg-Carrillo joined CPGjobs' parent company in 1999 as a principal.
