Recruiting team from CPGjobs to scout
Black MBA event for talent
PASADENA, Calif. (August 30, 2007) -- A team from
CPGjobs will attend the National Black MBA Association 2007 Conference and Exposition, September 11-16 in Orlando. The team will search for executive talent and introduce three new services at the show.
Nearly 15,000 attendees and 400 exhibitors are expected at the 29th annual event, one of the nation's largest recruiting venues. "We're excited to be returning to this important career expo and look forward to meeting new candidates and talking about our new services," said Michael Carrillo, president of CPGjobs, the CPG industry's leading recruiting services firm. CPGjobs represents more than 100 leading CPG firms "and most of them will be at this important career event."
Carrillo will head a team that includes Tami Page, vice president for sales of CPGjobs, and Spencer Blaker, the firm's director of sales for the northeastern region.
CPGjobs newly launched features include a Pay Per Hire service that allows firms to post unlimited jobs, benefit from active candidate outreach and pay only for those candidates they hire, and People Finder, a resume search tool that gives employers a weekly update on candidates who've express an interest in working for them. The firm will continue to offer Pay Per Post and professional recruiting services in addition to its new Pay Per Hire service.
CPG Forum -- talk of the industry
The recruiting services firm is also introducing
CPG Forum, a new website where industry executives can speak out, network with colleagues, connect with employers and track the latest industry trends. "It is the only independent online forum where CPG candidates and employers can connect," says Jackie Apodaca, CPGjobs marketing director and moderator of the forum.
CPGjobs is the creator of
CPGjoblist, the consumer packaged goods industry's leading recruiting service and website. CPGjobs has recently unveiled a host of new category sites "to broaden reach within specific disciplines," Carrillo announced. The sites include
CPGmarketingjobs.com,
CPGcategorymanagementjobs.com,
CPGmarketresearchjobs.com,
CPGsalesjobs.com,
CPGtrademarketingjobs.com,
CPGoperationsjobs.com,
CPGHRjobs.com,
CPGfinancejobs.com,
CPGretailbuyerjobs.com,
CPGadvertisingjobs.com,

CPGinternationaljobs.com and more to come.
"The goal of these new category sites, our new services and continuing outreach at events like the NBMBAA is to match the best candidates with the best jobs and create a continuous pipeline of diverse candidates for employers," Carrillo.
CPGjobs is a strong supporter of diversity, he noted. In addition to its membership in the National Black MBA Association, the firm is a corporate sponsor of the Network of Executive Women, a founding member of the California Diversity Council, and a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs and the Society of Human Resource Management.
