Johnson Graduate School of Management -- Cornell University – Ithaca, New York
The Johnson School Executive MBA program is specifically designed for mid-career managers, executives, and senior professionals. Through classes on alternate weekends (Saturday-Sunday) in the New York Metropolitan area, Executive MBA students earn the internationally recognized Johnson School MBA degree in only 22 months without career interruption. The program combines the rigor and depth of a traditional MBA program with the general management curriculum and weekend format of an executive degree program. The program schedule allows for maximum flexibility and work-family integration. The program is divided into four terms of approximately equal length and a summer break. Each term begins with a full week in residence on the Cornell campus in Ithaca. Following each residence week, classes meet on alternate weekends at the IBM Palisades Executive Conference Center near New York City. This world-class executive location is close to several airports and allows easy access to the program for executive students from throughout the United States. The Cornell Executive MBA program admits a single class of 50 students each July. The class remains together throughout the program. Courses are taught by faculty members from the Johnson School at Cornell. The small class size enhances the close working relationships with faculty and fellow students that characterize the Johnson School's MBA programs.
