    Lots of Changes At CPGjobs


    Judging from my conversations with many of you over the past few weeks, the second quarter is shaping up to be busy, busy, busy! Job requisitions are up and the demand for top talent is heating up accordingly.

    In mid-February, CPGjobs began a focused initiative to build our presence in the major social media outlets. Our social media goals include expanding the reach of your job postings, expanding our reach to new CPG professionals through a variety of media, and generating new content to create meaningful conversation within the CPG community on talent acquisition, human resource management, and social media recruiting and technology.

    We’ve also been tweaking things and making some changes that I think you’ll appreciate.

    Here are the details:


    Paid Candidate Membership Restrictions

    Our 4-month BETA test of Paid Candidate Membership ended in April. As we analyze our results, one thing is perfectly clear - restricting immediate visibility of job postings to Paid Members is not in keeping with our client’s best interests, nor is it compatible with CPGjobs’ relationships with candidates. We have removed this restriction. All candidates can now view and apply to all jobs regardless of their membership status.


    Website Migration

    Upon completion of the CPGjobs Blog in January, we began planning the migration of the content currently located on the CPGjoblist website into the Blog on the Word Press platform. That migration officially began several days ago and is expected to be fully complete by the end of May.

    Once this migration is successfully completed and all content is moved, candidates and other CPGjobs community members will be able to search and apply to jobs from the CPGjobs Blog site. All features and functionality currently on the CPGjoblist Job Board will remain the same.

    We will monitor performance of this new system for 60 days following migration completion, at which time CPGjoblist.com will immediately begin forwarding directly to the Blog at www.blog.cpgjobs.com. No negative impact in Google page ranking of the site or job postings are expected as a result of this change.
